Let's do it all again!
Relive
those wonderful days of Rock n' Roll, cruisin' Main Street, boppin at
the Malt Shop, and just hanging out in your cool car with your best guy
or gal listening to some great tunes on the radio. You'll find it all
at the Sixth Annual Cruisin' Main Street Frostburg on Thursday, August
30th, 2007.
Want some cruising?
If you are lucky enough to own a great car from that era, you can join
in this “American Graffiti” style cruise by parading it in front of
hundreds of appreciative spectators lining historic Main Street, Frostburg.Keep an eye out for the "Mayberry Deputy"; he may give you a citation!
Want to hear some great tunes? Dancing?
Be-bop with your baby to the live radio broadcast and dance the night
away to the sounds of American Pie & Catch-A-Wave, two great “oldies”
bands. Performing live at two locations - cruise around and check ‘em both out!
Want a burger and a shake?
Stroll into various restaurants or pull up for curb service! Grab a bite of your favorite food, too many to choose.
How about just admiring some of these cars close up?
Relax along Main Street, bring a chair, and experience the rolling thunder of over 500 nostalgic vehicles.
During this evening of yesteryear, cars are “cherry” and cruisin' is
“too cool”. So, shine your Chevy, detail your Deuce Coupe, hustle your
Hot Rod or just bring your chair - it will be a blast from the past for
everyone!
Cars are the Stars and Rock n' Roll rules!
